Today I had the double pleasure of seeing the trailer for the new Coen bros. movie A Serious Man and watching The Hudsucker Proxy. I also realized that with Hudsucker done I have seen their entire filmography. Naturally, I must rank their films now. I am going to make two exclusions: Intolerable Cruelty and Fargo. It has been too long since I have seen Cruelty, and I hardly remember it (bad sign). Fargo... was a while ago... and I don't know if I sat through the entire movie in one sitting even though I have seen parts of it many many times on TV. I know, I am terrible! But I can piece together the movie in my head, I promise! Still, it wouldn't be fair of me to rank it. So here I go:
1. The Big Lebowski
2. O Brother, Where Art Thou?
3. Barton Fink
4. No Country for Old Men
5. Miller's Crossing
6. Burn After Reading
7. The Hudsucker Proxy
8. Raising Arizona
9. Blood Simple
10. The Man Who Wasn't There
11. The Ladykillers
Yes, I watched it.

I have the exact same history with Fargo. Your confession makes me feel much better.
