Too Soon update

On tonight's Real Time with Bill Maher, Maher cracks a joke about Amelia Earhart getting lost in reference to a story Gore Vidal was telling about her to which the audience, naturally, booed. I knew it was coming and sure enough it did. "What, too soon?"

Weird, if I had posted this 45 minutes earlier, it would have been one year since I posted on a Too Soon Joke I heard on the Colbert Report. How does your precious science explain this?
