I would argue that for at least a season or two, the Big Love opening sequence was better than the show itself. Also, Pretty Little Liars has a great title sequence that contrasts teenage beauty rituals to preparing a corpse for a funeral. I'm making it sound creepier than it is, but I still think it's pretty clever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDR0nICerNg
I will give you that both of Big Love's openings are awesome.
